As a gift to my son, I created a ring of his favorite pattern: the chessboard or "checkerboard"; used by race drivers. The shape of the ring is smooth and oval, with no sharp corners to get hung up on things when he is working. The repeating square pattern is bold on the top and tapers into a collapsing horizon down the shank of the ring, fusing into a single point. I created this as a one-of-a-kind piece, however if this design interests you, please visit my How to order Custom page
